Veterans' Day

Did you tell a veteran "Thanks"? Thanks for what he or she did and was also willing to do if called upon. I for one an grateful for all the men and women in my family who are veterans. My mom, Joan, served in the British Army. My dad, Grant, served in the US Army. My husband, Donald, served in the US Air Force. Jared,my son, was an Army ROTC cadet. My daughter Taryn was an Air Force ROTC cadet. My son Grant graduated from the US Air Force Academy and is now serving in the Army. My sister-in-law Mary was a marine. Sheena is in the Army. Daniel, a fine marine, was killed in Iraq not long ago. Odias is currently serving in the Army in Iraq. Bobby Z's boy was in the Army too. My sister's father-in-law was a graduate of West Point and a career army man as was his father. Those a just a few of the many many men and women who have protected and are currently protecting our way of life. The list goes on and on.
